No reception in apartment, iphone app for making calls and texting through wi-fi?
I've got an iphone 5 with t-mobile, the apartment i live in gives me literally no reception at all. But as soon as i step out of it, i get an immidiate 3-4 bars, so I figured it's just my apartment. Does anyone know of any iphone apps that can use my phone number to make calls and text through wi-fi while still allowing me to keep my t- mobile service? So that i can still get calls and texts while in my apartment?
As of right now; no. You could probably use some various VOIP apps like Skype or something. But you'd have to purchase a second number. Sadly, they have no plans on bringing their Wi-Fi calling feature to the iPhone.
- My iPhone is having calling problems ONLY works with speakerphone when making calls? I don't really know if other people are having this problem but I have had this problem for like 3 months now. My iPhone when people call me or I call them. I'm only able to hear them they can't hear me, BUT when I put speakerphone on we can both hear each other an are able to have a phone conversation. My microphone works with music, voicemail, Vine, Instagram & videos but not during phone calls, Does anyone know the reason? Or could help me.
- My iPhone 5 is really quiet when making calls? Recently my iPhone has been really quiet when I'm on the phone. If I ring someone or they ring me I can barely hear what they are saying. Its only been like this for the last few weeks it was fine before then. All other sounds are loud so the music plays fine and my ringtone/message tone etc is all fine. So does anyone know why or how I could fix it? All help appreciated:-)
- Making 3 way or conference calls on the iPhone? I'm so lost when it comes to conference calls. They don't seen to work as easily as an other phone. When I'm on the phone with someone and add someone else I merge the calls but then I can't seem to end the call with one person and continute talking with the other like the swap option is grayed out so I press end and everyone gets disconnected! Then I could be on the phone already and get a call and when I try to merge the call this option is like grayed out! Why is this?
- Iphone4: no reception anywhere and can't make calls or text or RECEIVE any I'm on orange… my iphone 4 has no reception ANYWHERE i go. I can't receive calls or text or anything but i can connect to internet and i can download and play games… I've restarted my phone. I took out the sim and put it back sometimes i get reception when i restart but then i can't make calls or text or receive anything… help? Where can i get this fix? Do i need to change my sim?
