No sound coming out right earbud on iphone 4?
On all of my earbuds and headphones bo sound comes out the right earbud. But if i don't push the jack in all the way then i can hear out both. But when i put it in all the way i can only hear out he left, what's the answer? I've heard about if you bend the inside jack to much it wrecks it but i can still hear out of it just if i don't push it in all the way. What can i do without getting a new headphone jack replacement?
I think your jack is out of alignment. The right bud is supposed to be the tip. If push in too far the flange on the jack does not touch the tip but touches the ring, putting the right channel sound in the left bud & the left sound is grounded on the sleeve.
My thought is make a paper & tape bushing to keep you from pushing the plug in too far.
