No sound from earphones?
I've tried two pairs of earphones (both work on a different phone) but neither of them produce sound when connected to my phone. My phone plays music clearly when earphones aren't plugged in. I bought this (iPhone 5SE) phone a month ago so it's not old at all so "age" isn't the issue. Anyone know how to fix this without having to go into the Apple Store?
Usually that type of bug can be fixed by restarting the phone or doing an update, it may be due for an update
When you plug your earphones in check it actually says 'headphones' instead of 'iPhone' (swipe up the screen and check under where the music plays)
Also, is it water damaged? If so try doing the rice trick, that should work. Otherwise, try a hard reset
Unless they're compatible with apple products, they won't work. Get a pair of earphones for apple, or an adapter to work with standard earphones.
- Why won't the sound on my iphone work without earphones? I have an iphone 4s which is fully up to date, all of my sound is fine when my earphones are plugged in however when i have no earphones in i can't play music or hear any sound when on apps and games etc, but my sound works for facetime and when i'm on the phone to someone even on loudspeaker, it sometimes goes quiet though, i have tried everything i can think of to fix it and nothing will work, please help

- Why Do I Have To Click The Sound Thing On Instagram To Play The Sound? For some reason the sound hasn't been working on my iPhone for Instagram. Someone said to click on the moving sound bars on the top right of the video and that it will play sound. Well, it worked. But my question is why the hell should I do that? Can't it just automatically play?
