Non of my devices will connect to the Wi-Fi?
I have an iphone 4s, ipod touch and a HP laptop. It usually connects to the Wi-Fi fine when ever i'm by my house or anyone else, but Whenever I go to my grandparents house non of my devices connect to the Wi-Fi. I click connect, it takes a few seconds then says it can't. It doesn't even take me to the step where it says "type in the password". Just Nope you can't connect. There devices and other peoples work fine. And I don't know what's wrong with mine. It works normally when ever I go anywhere else.
Most older routers have some sort of pairing setting, where you need to press a button to put the router into 'pairing mode' to connect a new device to it. On my old Orange Livebox, I had to hold 'button 2' for 30 seconds to put it into pairing mode. To find out how to do it (if necessary) go to the manufacturer's website and find out.
I had the same problem once. Try changing your routers Encryption type. To do this you will need to call your internet company since you don't have a computer connected, and ask them if they can change your routers encryption type.
Seems like your grandpa's house Wi-Fi password has changed and your saved network may be trying to connect via same old saved password. All you need is to click forget this network option and then try reconnecting it again by giving current password. Hopefully this shall solve your problem.
- Why won't my Devices connect to my home Wi-Fi? My HP Touchpad, Blackberry Torch and my moms Kobo and iPhone 4 won't connect to our home Wi-Fi.our computer and my iPod are fine. When we try to connect it say it can't find the IP address. They all work on other networks. We have a WEP network, or something like that.
- Unable to connect to iTunes on certain devices? When I try to connect to my iTunes account on my iPod or my PC, it doesn't work. On the PC, it gives me error message 50 and says a network connection can't be established. On the iPod it just says "can't connect to iTunes store". I tried to connect my other iPhone and my iPad to the same account, and they worked fine. I know my internet is working. What's the problem and how do I fix it?
- One laptop can connect to our home Wi-Fi network but no other devices can connect? We recently set up a wireless internet connection in our house. One laptop can connect to it (the one I'm currently on) but no other devices can connect to it. It says our "Network Security Key" is mismatched. I have tried typing in all the different codes on both the router and modem on both our second laptop and an iPhone 5. How can I fix this?
- My Wi-Fi won't connect on my laptop but will connect to my other devices (an iPhone and iPad)? I have a MacBook Air. Sometimes it does connect but other times it just won't. It takes ages connecting and then in the end comes up with the exclamation mark or is just blank. Is this a problem with my laptop? I've tried researching the problem but have found nothing.
