None of my devices will connect to my home wi-fi but my family's work fine?
So it started when I was using my laptop at home and the wireless connection suddenly became "limited"
(I use windows 8). My phone won't work either. I used "forget network" for both of my devices and started anew, but nothing, still "limited". My family's devices are just fine, it won't connect as long as the device is mine apparently…
It's an iPhone the phone I'm using.
I know Iphone or Apple products don't connect to WEP Authentication…
But for your Windows 8 not sure… I would say make sure you don't have any static network information and makes sure someone is not playing a practical joke on you by blocking you from the Wi-Fi Router via your Mac Address. Which someone with admin rights can do.
Thanks, The problem has been solved, I restarted the extension instead of the actual router.
- Why won't my iPhone earbuds work on my iPhone but work fine on a computer? So I have the worst luck with earbuds and it happens to be reoccurring. I have a normal iPhone 5 and I enjoy music but when I listen to my songs only one earbud will work while the other one is dead. I can go on my computer and they will both work so I was wondering why they both won't work on my phone?
- Why can't my desktop connect to our Wi-Fi at home but does connect to moble hotspot? Suddenly my desktop won't connect to our Wi-Fi. All other devices such as laptops, phones and tablets connects just fine. I tried connecting it to my iphone's hotspot and it works. I tried to unistall and reinstall the wireless adapter but still won't work. I also tried to reboot the router and even tried to change the channel but still failed to make it work. Do you have any other way to make it work? I have windows 7 on my desktop.
- Router gives PC Internet, but none of the other devices? I have a Belkin n300 Wi-Fi router. My PC has Internet access, but whenever I try to access it on another device (such as my iPhone), my network shows up but will not connect. I'll type in my password, but all it does is buffer. It also won't connect to my Xbox. Is there a way to fix this?
- One laptop can connect to our home Wi-Fi network but no other devices can connect? We recently set up a wireless internet connection in our house. One laptop can connect to it (the one I'm currently on) but no other devices can connect to it. It says our "Network Security Key" is mismatched. I have tried typing in all the different codes on both the router and modem on both our second laptop and an iPhone 5. How can I fix this?
