Normal SIM card in an iPhone 4?

I know I sound really spoilt when I say this but I curently have the blackberry 9360 and want to upgrade it to an iPhone but want to keep my sim and contract I was wondering if there was any way of keeping my contract because don't you need a microsim? Also I have the iPod 5 th generation would it be okay to get the iPhone even though they're pretty much the same? Because in the future I might want a different phone that's much different to my iPod thanks x

You need a micro sim for the iphone 4.

You do need a micro SIM for the iPhone 4. You can ask your network to send you a micro SIM and they will send you one with the same number and same contract on it. Alternatively, you can cut down your current normal SIM to a micro SIM using a special cutter (you can buy them on eBay for about £3).

The SIM would have to be cut down to microSIM size in order to work in the iPhone 4. No way around it.

If I buy an iPhone from an individual, can I take it to AT&T and have them give me a smaller sim card & transfer my information? Would I have to pay extra for it? Is it even possible?
