O2 data pay and go? Bolt on?

Hi, I got iPhone 5 for christmas. On my current sim card I have a bolt on and it's £7.50 per month and that gets me unlimited data. When I change my number into my microsim and start using my iPhone will this stay? I was looking on the o2 website and they don't offer that bolt on anymore.

I think it could stay but to be sure you should go to your wireless service provider ask them in one of their stores.

Depends how you get your iPhone
As a new phone, or a PAYG phone with PAYG contract
(which seems to be Pay & Go Go Go - not always the best)

and Why would your number change?
They should just change the SIM to a small one, not change your number
keep your number, and you should keep your existing contract / Bolt -ons

Normally you would just add the phone to the same contract (if iPhone on O2)
OR
PAC code from another network if not O2.

If nothing else changes (you just change your phone) - you should keep your current bolt on.

if however, you are upgrading or changing your contract terms,
then yes it is possible the 'old' bolt on will be lost
http://www.o2.co.uk/iphone/iphone-5 - Seems they want to put you on a specific PAYG contracr

- but I would do quick appeal to them should usually restore it.

Other PAYG tarrifs (unlimited and international are the same thing)
http://www.o2.co.uk/tariffs/payandgo

And you see the bolt ons at the bottom for data.

Yes.

o2 perform a sim swap, this only changes o2s hlrs database to the new simcard.

this means your old sim will be cut off and your service moved to your new micro sim card.

o2 don't support the web Unlimited bolton on any more, but it'll stay on your account until you remove it or ask customer services to remove it.

please be aware with the iphone 5 on pay and go you won't receive any iphone features such as visual voice mail.

you will also need to change the apns, to payandgo.o2.co.uk instead of idata.o2.co.uk the usernames and password don't require changing.

hope this helps,
