Old iphone's whatsapp conversations?
My old iphone's screen is black and won't work. It receives calls and vibrates though so the phone is not broken, just the screen. Meanwhile I got another and put my simcard in it. I was wondering if when the old iphone gets its screen fixed, but my simcard is not in it, there's any chance that the conversations that I've been having on my new iphone will be there, or even the ones that were there before I took out the simcard. I wanna know this for whatsapp and iMessage conversations. Please if anyone knows the answer I'd really appreciate it it's important.
Yes. WhatsApp messages are stored on the phone, not the SIM. SIMs don't hold much of anything these days.
- Will my old whatsapp convo still be there? I haven't been on whatsapp in around 4 months. I completely deleted the app and not too long ago an old friend said she sent me a picture on there around 2 months ago. If I reinstall the app will the conversation still be there? Also on my iPhone it's not letting me restore anything because I don't have enough iCould space. So does that mean I can't retrieve this conversation?
- IPhone receives text conversations from random people? My dad's iPhone 4 keeps receiving text conversations from several numbers. There are outgoing messages as well, as if he sent them (but he didn't because he doesn't text).In other words, it's as if he's watching two people text a conversation. Before calling our service provider, what can we do? By the way, he bought the iPhone used. But he's had it for a few months already and this just started happening now.
- IPhone is not showing old conversations? Ever since I have traveled out of the country all of my previous iMessages with only 1 contact are not showing up. Only the ones sent as text messages to and from this specific contact are there. Any ideas?
- IPhone App that hides SMS Conversations? Does anyone know a iPhone App (or Jailbroken App) that lets you hide individual SMS/Text Messages? Like a swipe to hide or double tap to hide conversation app?
