Only one side of my iPhone earphones works? How do I make both work?
Well, I've been having these earphones for a while now, and one side of the two earphones just stops working one day. I already checked to see if it's the phone's fault and not the earphones, so I'm sure that it's the earphones. Can someone tell me how to get both sides to work?
If youve tested that both the earphones work on another device, also get another set of earphones and check if only one side works on your phone. If only one works side works with both earphone sets then most likely one of the connections in the headphone jack has become loose or broken (open). If it's under warranty take it to apple (you can check if it is at their website, click support). If it isn't you can buy a replacement off ebay fairly cheap on ebay, but got to youtube and watch the entire video on how to do it to be sure it's in your skill range before doing it. What would be worse? One dead headphone or a non-working phone because it was too difficult for you and you messed it up and wouldn't work after you took it apart? Not saying you can't just saying I don't know your technical skill level.
Test it in another phone or device with a headphone Jack. If it works it could be r iPhone Jack has a short
Had same issue. Actually in my phone, I had under the accessibility settings, shifted the audio volume balance on one side. Actually it ideally should be in centre. And issue get sorted. Also. Pl check that you have bot selected mono audio.
- Using iPhone earbuds as both earphones and mic? I want to use Skype on my laptop but my laptop only had webcam but no inbuilt mic. Can I use my iPhone earbuds as both a mic and as earphones? Do I insert it into the headphone or mic input thing? Thanks @Grayson M I meant for using my earbuds for Skype on my laptop. There are 2 inputs, one headphones, the other for the mic. Which one do I plug my earbuds in so that I can use them as earphones and mic?
- My Iphone earphones work fine on the left side but on the right it's low? You see I thought the right side is just low but actually I figured out the sound is coming out of the horizontal back opening on the headphone. When I put it in my ear from that hole the sound is very good so is there anyway I can like transfer it back to the vertical part( the part where it ususally goes in)?
- My iphone 3gs volume don't work they only work when you put earphones in? I recently repaired my 3gs because all the buttons were broken. But they still had worked i just needed buttons on because it was hard to put the volume up or down. So when all the buttons were fixed i can only use the earphones too adjust the volume from the side if i take the earphones off i can't hear my music or game sound… So how do i fix this?
