Onomatopoeia for an alarm clock going off?
I'm taking about the classic alarm clocks or the digital clocks with built in alarms… Not iPhones. I wanted to use "BLEEP", but it sounds bland. Does anyone have an interpretation of what alarm clocks sound like? I need as many suggestions as possible.

My current digital alarm clock is set to turn on the radio, which where I live is just some really loud static.
This totally depends on which alarm clock you're using. If you use http://onlineclock.net the alarm clock sounds like CHEEP CHEEP CHEEP, for example.
If you use an old-fashioned, wind-up alarm clock, the alarm bell sounds like BRRRRRING!

- Why doesn't my alarm clock sound off on my iphone? Although it "alarms" when it should, it doesn't ring, it only vibrates. Does anyone know how to fix this? P.S I had a 4 day weekend last week, and I kept leaving my phone everywhere, so I didn't get to turn off the alarm clock for maybe 3 days, so maybe this is the reason?
