Package not here yet! What should I do?

Here is my crazy question.So, I went on Amazon looking for a present for myself and I saw a good price on a iPhone 3GS and I just had to get it. I put down that I wished to buy it and it went through and the seller put that he had shipped it and gave me the tracking info along with it. He sent it November 26, 2012 and it left from the area November 27, 2012. That was all the tracking info I have on my Tracking on Amazon. I waited 5 days since its first class mail and I know it takes 2-3 days but its no guarantee and if you wish to file a report then it takes up to 5 days. I called USPS about the problem and the lady took down my info and said I should be called within 1 business day. I then contacted the seller twice. Yesterday and today and no response still. This is just a short and sweet version of the story lol. Anyways, what do you think my next step should be? I know that my last resort will be that if its lost and the seller won't contact me back that I can call Amazon's customer service and they can kindly refund my money. Still, in the meantime, what should I do?

This happened to me when i ordered a Foo Fighters poster from i think Amazon too. It said it would come 3 to 5 days but instead it came 2 weeks later & i was terrified too that it wasn't going to come but it did. Give it more time. I'm sure it'll come & if it doesn't, just do what you gotta do. Hope i helped!

Personally? I wouldn't wait any longer. Call Amazon and invoke their guarantee. With the Christmas season on us, your package could be buried anywhere in the system.
