PC running Windows 7 won't mount Iphone 4 to Itunes?
When I plug my Iphone 4 into my computer running windows 7, a pop up asks me if I would like to import pictures and videos, download images, and open device to view files. I also found out that my computer reads my phone as a portable device. Since it will not mount to Itunes, I can't add music to it and i've tried completely uninstalling/deleting all apple related software, including the apple mobile device manger and other things like that, and I have re installed everything and it still does not work. I would like to know how to change it so my computer reads my Iphone differently and i can mount it to itunes and be able to add music to it.
What does "mount" mean? You mean it won't show up in iTunes when you start iTunes up? Have you tried rebooting your computer with the device attached? That's what I do when I've got this problem, which is seldom.
" I also found out that my computer reads my phone as a portable device."
That's normal.
