Playing videos from iphone 5 on windows 8 laptop?

I have my video saved on my laptop, but I can't play it on any video app. It is a. MOV file but windows media player, youtube, NOTHING will recognize it.

Added (1). Michael; I tried that and it said File Format Error. Any other ideas?

Either acquire VLC media player, or a video converter application.

You can convert the mov video to wmv video, then you can use windows media player to play it. If you don't know how to convert video, I think this step by step direction would help you a lot.
