Please! Somebody stole my iphone 5
I can already guess whoever the thief was has already reset all the settings and took out my sims card and turned off my phone. Is there any way I can still find it?
No and even if you had no doubt it was them the police don't get involve with that. You can get in touch with apple and give them the serial number so that they mark the sn bad. You did register it right?
The first thing to do is contact the police! File a report… Even if they don't want to!
Then contact your carrier and let them know. There are ways to trace the phone. Have you tried logging into icloud? To use the trace features?
Contact Apple see what they can do. This happened to my sister and the guy wanted money but when her husband went it turned out to be a bunch if white kids so he punched one lightly and they handed it over.
If you have an App on your iPhone installed called "Find my iPhone" you could go to iCloud.com, log in and see your iPhone on a map, as long as its connected to Wi-Fi or 3G/LTE (cellular data). You can also lock it, change your password or put it in lost mode from there, or even send an alert to the thief.
Don't have Find my iPhone installed? Try contacting Apple or your mobile carrier. No matter what your mobile carrier is, they can help find your phone. The earlier you do this, the better! If you want, you can also try filling out a report with your local police, to see if they'll help you find it. Also make sure to call your carrier and suspend your phone's service, because if you don't have a password, the theft can easily use your minutes/texting/data plan, which can cost HUNDREDS or THOUSANDS of dollars!
