Pokemon trading between devices?

I have Pokemon Fire Red on my iPhone with the Gba4ios emulator, is it possible for me to trade/battle my friend that has an actual GameBoy with the actual game, or even another iPhone with the emulator? Please have a legit answer

No. It is not possible. Firstly, because you are using an EMULATOR, which, by definition, is a replica of the game on your iOS device. It only has the surface functions, none of the background functions. Secondly, the iOS emulator can't connect to ANY other device for purposes of trading or battling. It simply can't happen. Thirdly, iOS is an inferior operating system and you should really consider Android over iOS
