Police took my iPhone 6+ how to erase my iPhone if they have it on airplane mode?
They are trying to charge me with harassment 2 counts because I threatened someone over the phone so I went to jail and they took my phone I have find my iPhone installed but they have it on airplane mode how to erase the phone if it has no Internet connection

You can't because you have no access at all. However if you get onto Apple.com you can erase it but it will only apply once you get it off airplane mode
You can't. They were one step ahead of you, and your carrier will backup any times that the text or calls match on you phone, the victims phone and both carriers text and or call logs.

- Can they get into the phone if they know the passcode when it's in lost mode? I had an iPhone with a passcode and it and it got stolen by someone I know. But they know the passcode to get in the phone. If the phone is in lost mode, can they still open the phone with the passcode? Or you you have to disable it through Find my IPhone? I won't report this person but I want to make sure they can't use the phone, even if they have it.
- If I erase and sync my iPhone 4 in the music library, will it erase my photos? I'm trying to add music to my iPhone 4 and when I go to sync just the music, it says 'erase and sync'. Will it delete my photos? If so, can I right click my iPhone and back it up so if it does delete my photos, I can just back it up?
- If I erase all my content and settings/data on my iPhone 4, will it erase my number too? I need to erase everything to make room for an update but for that I need 4.7 GB and I have 4.4 right now. I deleted and backed up everything I could but I for some reason can't delete my mail even if I sign out and I just can't lose my number
