Portable Recorder for my LAPEL MIC?

Thanks for taking the time to read my question!

I have a Lapel Mic (lavalier) and I currently use my iPhone to record and then import to my software to sync with video.

I want to know if there's such a thing (ad what its called):

I'm looking for a portable recorder, not a system with a transmitter and receiver, but just so I could record my audio with and then import the audio to my editing software from that device. I don't want it to be a transmitter and receiver system. I don't know what its called to search it up on Amazon and I don't know where to start since I'm not good in the audio field of filmmaking.

In short: a recorder where I could plug in my Lavalier MIC and record to that device that will also allow me to import to my computer FROM that device. AGAIN, I don't want an external device for the audio to be received on.

What is it called? Or does something like that exist?

I've seen a lot of wireless mic systems on Amazon, but I only want a compact, portable, easy to use recorder and receiver all in one, BUT under $150.

What would you recommend? Also, please feel free to email me if you need more specs and details…

I'm LOST Please Help!

Added (1). I looked into it, and I found the Zoom H1 and the Tascam DR-05. For the Zoom H1, can I connect my lapel MIC to the recorder and record? Also, can I then export from the device, itself?

Added (2). Sort of in a dilemma: I'm currently using my iPhone to record audio with my Lavalier MIC and it's so annoying because sometimes I attach the lapel to other people which means I have to give them my phone. Now, I don't want a multifunctional recorder since I already have the Rode Video MIC Go & the Lav MIC. The recorders would just be a waste of money for only the use of one particular reason which is to record audio with my Lav MIC. Are there any recorders that ONLY record with lapel mic.

BUY A DIGITAL VOICE RECORDER, A VERY SMALL PORTABLE DEVICE. IT USES ITS BUILD IN RAM TO RECORD VOICE LAST 8 HOURS OR MORE. AFTER RECORDING IS DONE, CONNECT WIRE FROM ITS EARPHONE SOCKET TO PC SOUND CARD "LINE IN".
DOWNLOAD ANY SOUND RECORDER SOFTWARE TO COPY THE VOICE RECORDING INTO A SOUND FILE ( DONE BY THE SOFTWARE). THEN USING THE SAME SOFTWARE TO DO ANY EDITING.

Hi so you might be recoding in audio however it needs converting to an MP3 File to be added to the iPhone.

A dictaphone. Eg olympus make several

  • What is a good video recorder for making home movies? My friends and I are very interested in making home-movies (script-writing, recording, and publishing to YouTube), but we have only been using our iPhones. Since we want to continue the movies, we want to get a better recorder because as everyone knows, iPhones do not have the best recording quality. What is a cheap but reliable recorder for home-movies?

  • Jailbreak, Openappmkt, Display Recorder & Cydia? Hi, I want to figure out how to jailbreak my phone & install Openappmkt, Display Recorder & Cydia. Okay, here's the details. I have an iPhone 4S, iOS 7.1.1. I tried going to openappmkt.com, but it always says Application Error. You need Openappmkt to install Cydia, right? Okay, about Display Recorder.
