Is this potential roommate sketchy?
So, I'm just out of college, and I'm job hunting. I do have some money saved up from a part-time job, but not enough to afford a decent apartment on my own. A mutual friend introduced me to this guy, who is 23. My friend tells me he graduated from an Ivy but doesn't have any student loans (financial aid and part time job) and got recruited right out of college to work as an investment banker. I talked to him a couple times. He seems nice and friendly, but the first thing that jumped out at me is how rich he seemed. He was wearing a different suit each time I saw him, drive a pretty nice car, and had the latest iPhone. I know investment bankers make a lot, so I was wondering why he needed a roommate. He told me something about cutting costs so he can invest more in the stock market. That is a reasonable answer, but I still feel that it's kind of sketchy. Am I right to have that feeling?
Honestly ask his friends or talk with his family to find out. To me he seems pretty accomplished and successful so I would just room with him due to him not having student loans and having every new thing. Just find out about him and decide for yourself, if you feel he is untrustworthy then don't room with him.
Sounds fishy to me also. Go with your gut.
- What should I say to my roommate from last semester (who stole my stuff)? He stole my stuffed Kermit the Frog. I know it was him. I know that he was capable of it since he also stole someone's iPhone. Yet when I see him, he's still just like, "Hey man, how are you doing?" and pretending to be my friend. What should I say to him?
- Should I upgrade from iphone 4s to iphone 5s or wait for a potential iphone 6? I have an upgrade. My 4s is starting to act up. Is it worth it to upgrade or should I stick it out until the next one is released?
- My iPhone 5s battery isn't reaching it's full potential? So I just got an iPhone 5s on Monday. It came about 60% charged. I used it until it died then charged it to 100%. Ever since then my iPhone has had an alright battery life. It's neither horrible or great battery life. It lasts a bit. There's not a significant drain either. Does it take a few days for the battery to fully calibrate?
- I think my roommate is stealing from me? I need a camera that'll connect to my iPhone while I'm at work. It needs to be small enough he won't see it in the corner. Any recommendations?
