Power button on the apple iPhone 4s stopped working?
Hi! The power button suddenly stopped working yesterday. Not the home button! That's fine! As the iPhone is 2/3 months out of apple warranty, I heard that cos I'm payin a contract for 2 years, should my network provider repair it? It's not accidental damage as the phone is pristine, it has a cover with built in buttons so the button is always completely covered so dust free yet does get cleaned too cos we all know bits get through. There was no sign of it slowing, one minute it worked, the next minute it didn't. I heard that the sales of goods act 1979 says about contracts, the item should be for for use through the contract length, and should repair or replace. Anyone have any thoughts on this?
I don't know why people even use the power button, I never shut my iphone off ever (and just let it go dormant at night and you never have to shut it off when charging, etc)
- Power button on iPhone 5 stopped working? I got the iPhone 5 for christmas this past year and since I got it the power button wouldn't work unless i pushed it down on the left side only. But now the other day it completely stopped working altogether. If i take it in to apple, will they give me a new one for free? Or am i gonna have to pay for repairs? I don't wanna go in and not have my phone backed up on my computer if they decide to give me a new one.
- Power button and home button doesn't work on iPhone 5C? Hi, so a while ago I dropped my phone in water, I took it to a repair shop and they fixed it but when I got it back the power and home button didn't work, I turned on assistive touch so I can use my home button and turn off my phone, now I can't turn it on without using my charger or having someone text me, is there any other way I can turn it on without having to do that?
- My iPhones lock button stopped working. Will apple fix it? I don't have apple care and it just stopped working and it seems to be jammed. I have the iPhone 5
- My iPhone lock button stopped working? It works, but I have to beat it against something before it'll actually lock with the lock button, I have insurance on my iPhone, it's the iPhone 4 white, where I have insurance would I be able to get a new phone or would I have to get the tools and replace it myself? It's a Verizon iPhone.
