PowerGen Mobile Juice Pack (External Battery Charger)?

I have an iPhone 4s, and the battery life sucks. But, alas, I'm stuck with it.

I'm going on a trip in a couple of months, and I've been searching for an external battery charger for on-the-go travel.

I've been looking at the PowerGen Mobile Juice Pack (http://www.amazon.com/PowerGen-External-Blackberry-Sensation-Thunderbolt/dp/B005VBNYDS/

Did any of you ever use one? Was it good/bad/other?

Also, since it doesn't seem to come with an AC adapter, what did you use to charge it? Can you just use the Apple AC Adapter? You can use your laptop to charge it, but since I'm not bringing my laptop, and I'll be using this for multiple devices (2 iPhones, sister's Nexus 7,) for multiple days, I can't obviously use it without an AC adapter to recharge the PowerGen.

Anyways, I'm just looking into it.

I might suggest the Anker version.

It seems to have more positive reviews than the PowerGen…

  • What is a reliable battery pack for an iPhone 5? I need to purchase a battery pack for my iPhone 5, something that would extend my battery life for a few hours longer/ charge my iPhone while on the go. I need it to be something reasonable in price too. Is there a specific battery pack that you would recommend? Product review would be awesome!
  • Should I get the mophie iphone 4s juice pack air or and otterbox defender case? I can't get the Otterbox iON case because it costs a lot but should I get the mophie case or the otterbox defender. I don't really have use for a otterbox because I never drop my phone. I'm leaning towards the mophie, but i want to know how durable the case is as well as the battery. Thanks in advance!   • New mophie juice pack air problem? Today I got the mophie juices pack air online and I put the case on my new iPhone 5S and it said this case may not be compatible with your device. Then I charged the case and it is draining my phone battery… The case I got it mophie special edition red. @ first I thought It was because it's the 5S then I tried it on someone's iPhone 5 & it said it might not be compatible. So I don't know what the problem is? Am I doing something wrong?
