Pressing my home button on my iphone4 doesn't minimize apps?
I just purchased a used iphone4 since mine was stolen, however with this new iphone i have now pressing the home button doesn't minimize apps i'm on, like photos or anything, i have to press it multiple times or hold it, is there a setting for this or is my home button broken?
It must be broken, my home button is sh*t but i think thats cos i spilt so many drinks all over it.

Broken. Will need a new home button assembly. Most shops will charge between 40-60 to replace. We charge 40.00 locally. Hope this helps.
- Whenever I double-tap on the home button on my iphone, it doesn't let me close apps? Usually you just double-tap the home button, the app windows come up, and you can swipe them up to close them, right? I'm not sure what happened but nothing happens when I do this now. Also I don't know if this has anything to do with it, but imessage is kind of screwed up too, because whenever I try to type something, the text box covers up the latest text. Hi, so a while ago I dropped my phone in water, I took it to a repair shop and they fixed it but when I got it back the power and home button didn't work, I turned on assistive touch so I can use my home button and turn off my phone, now I can't turn it on without using my charger or having someone text me, is there any other way I can turn it on without having to do that?
- My iPhone 5 is acting as if I'm pressing the home button repeatedly It keeps exiting out of my apps, turning on and off Siri over and over again, changing color- basically it's executing all the functions the home button does. Thing is, I'm not pressing the home button. I've tried googling the problem but haven't found any solutions. Help please? I'm unable to do anything on my phone currently.
