Problems downloading iPhone app?
So I tried downloading tumblr on my iPhone 4 only to find out that the new update requires ios 8 which doesn't support my iPhone._. Does anyone know of any ways around this or something?
Upgrade to the new Iphone model. Not kidding, this is their entire business model.
Go to apple main site. You can find whether you are in true site or not by the color of tool bar. If it's green in color. Then you can download that.
Upgrading is the only choice I guess…
Sometimes older versions get archived by Apple but it's very rare. If you can't download it then try to make do with the version you have. Best luck.
One option is that you download the tumblr on your computer using iTunes and the same apple id as on your device. Then try downloading it on your iPhone. Most likely you will be offered the last compatible version of tumblr for your iPhone.

And I went to download the YouTube app again and my moms apple ID email pops up for me to put the password in to download the app. And in my settings, it's set as my email. Anything reason why?
