Problems Syncing iPhone (Says it needs more space when it doesn't)?
I've just sorted out moving all my music over onto my new laptop and I'm trying to sync my iPhone to it for the first time but iTunes is telling me that it can't sync because it needs more space.
The bar at the bottom of iTunes when I'm selecting music and apps etc to put on my phone says there's 2.33gb of space on there but when I press sync an error message comes up saying it needs an additional 5.43gb of space to move all the selected items over. I've tried deselecting some items but all that happens is that iTunes tells me slightly less space is needed.
Any help would be much appreciated, I can't find this problem online anywhere and I can't think of any reason why it would be happening.
You're wrong about the space you need. How many songs are you moving onto it?
No he is not. I have the same concern states I need another 3.48 gb but shows I have 5.9 availible
- Will buying more iCloud space let me download more apps, songs, and photos? So i have deleted apps that i don't really need and deleted songs i don't listen to but still there's not enough space to even take a photo, A pop up comes up that says to manage my icloud storage. Would purchasing more icloud storage allow me to download more apps and have more songs and pictures on my iPhone 4 from sprint? It is an 8gb i think.
- More you use an app the more space it takes up on iPhones and iPads? I have an iPad and new iPhone 5 that I just got. I have rhapsody on both the same app and amount of music basically (iPad as seven more songs on app) but on the iPad the rhapsody app takes up 2.8 GB and the iPhone takes up 1.8GB. Why is that? The more use the app the more space it takes up even if you're not adding new content?
- Syncing my iphone will change more than 25% of my contacts? I'm trying to since my iphone 4 onto my computer and it keeps telling me that if I sync it, more than 25% of my contacts will be changed on this computer. What does this mean? Will anything be erased and how can I prevent it from being erased? Someone help me out here please? :/
- Since everybody needs food to survive, why doesn't it cost more than an iPhone? If you don't eat food, you would die. Nobody would die if they don't have an iPhone. So, shouldn't the price of food be higher than an iPhone? and most people don't know how to grow their own food which increases their perceived value This is strictly economic question, not a morality question
