Pros and cons of ios7? I still have ios6 on iPhone 5?

I have an iPhone 5 and I'm still on ios6.1.4. I still really like the 6 but no one I know has it and I feel left out. Am I missing something? What are the pros and cons of the 7?
The only reason I'm considering it is the phone number blockage. I have an ex who's still bugging even though I have told him multiple times to leave me alone. That's the only reason why…
So is it worth it to update my phone? I haven't had any problems so far with my 6. The only thing I can think of was that I was unable to download 1 app due to my current version. So should I do it? I'm a little scared lol

IOS 7 is alot better, almost all apps are designed for the latest OS and not earlier versions. The call block (for messaging and phone calling) is something that I have used ALOT. All spammers get one chance then they go on the list. Airdrop is also convenient.

What I would do is that if your contract is up in 3 or 4 months, then I would just finish out your contract, no reason to risk anything if that close, then you can basically get a free 5S upgrade with new contract by trading it in and it will have iOS 7 on it.

You should definitely upgrade to iOS 7. IOS 7 is compete revamp of the iOS system and in my opinion has a much better appealing look than the previous versions. What's holding you back from updating? Because the iPhone 5 should be available to update to iOS 7. Like the other person said, apps now a designed to run on iOS 7. Also, there's the security concern with using an outdated operating system and it doesn't protect you form the latest cyber threats.

Those technologies are 2 totally different technologies, therefore probably rendering them incompatible.
