Pros and Cons of iPhone Filmmaking?

I'm getting into film-making and have been using my iPhone. I see there a lot of apps, and other accessories.

What are the pros and cons? What are low-cost alternatives?

I feel like it's going to be the most practical thing to use, in my getting started…

Do you have an experience with iPhone film-making?

Which accessories do you recommend or not recommend?

I was checking out the Alm. When I have sufficient resources I plan on getting a lens. I have a monopod.

Any input would be appreciated. I'm a modern-day filmmaker (I guess?) uploading comedy shorts to YouTube and other social media sites.

Thanks for your help and experience.

Also, a problem I have encountered is that with sound. If you could give any info on that or recommenced accessories you've personally used, I'd appreciate it.

The only real problems I have had is the sound and the video not focusing properly. Carry a mic with whoever is talking and record the sound with that, then overnight the original video sound and use the better one. With focusing I could not figure a solution it would change focus every 20 seconds. I just kinda had to work with it but overall it is a very good phone to video with. If you upload a video off the phone use the YouTube capture app, it will just make the video look better and you can add more tags, titles, etc… And are not required to have a description. If you want to edit off your iPhone the two best cheap apps are splice(free) and game your video(2.99) do not get the splice that is 3.99 it makes no difference.

  • What is pros and cons, features of apple iPhone 5? Please tell me when Apple iPhone 5s or 6 release in India. And please tell me what is Nexus, what is its use.
  • What are the pros and cons of a sprint and tmobile merge? Will my coverage speeds change? Will my Tmobile iPhone 5c be technically be running off of sprints network? Sprint is just downright terrible. I don't want to be paying a cent for service I can't use. Please tell me this isn't the case. TMobile uses HSPA+ network, and sprint uses CDMA. Those technologies are 2 totally different technologies, therefore probably rendering them incompatible.
  • Should I Buy the iPhone 5 from Apple or Verizon? (Pros and Cons Please.)? My wireless phone service is on a business plan and only the business owner is our Verizon Account Manager, so I do not have rights to access my Verizon account. I have had my Blackberry Storm2 for over 3 years and I'm wondering if it is better for me to wait and see if Verizon will offer the 64GB iPhone 5 at a discounted price for me or if Apple will offer the iPhone 5 at the same exact price as Verizon including the ability to sync with my Verizon business account?
