Pros and cons on iphones and androids?

Which is better in your opinion?

Please don't just put a one-word answer, I need legitimate reasons why one is better than the other. OR why it's a draw, and describe their equal advantages and setbacks.

My friend asked me why I didn't have an Iphone and I said that iphones aren't unique enough for me; there's no originality since lots of people have them. Correct me if I'm wrong, or support me, which ever supports your opinion as well.

I have the samsung galaxy 3 and the only con i can think of for the android is the big size of the phone which will take a while for someone to get used to but even that is a pro because it means a bigger screen and makes it easier to read documents or watch videos on the phone.one of my favorite pros is the amazing battery life it has and compared to the ios7 on the iphone, it is so much better! I also find it easier to navigate through the android than it is to navigate through the iphone

Iphone has the best apps and security (no virus checker neededed like other phones have).It has imessage, siri, facetime, fingerprint access, burst mode and slo-mo camera, free radio, airdrop, call blocking, etc.

I have owned both phones mutiple times before, here is my experience with both.

I phone:

Pros:
Huge app store
VERY Reliable.
Attractive.
Nice os for beginners
Screen is good
Cons:
VERY restricted app store (apple is very tight about what is put on there, which I think presonally is a bad thing.
Not a phone for a power user/multitasker.
Somewhat sucky battery life
No widgets/extensions/customization.

Android:

Pros:
Most all have EXCELLENT screens. (almost always bigger than iphones screen)
Extensive app store (almost on par with Iphones)
Great phone for Power-users/Multitaskers
Google is less strict about what is put on app store (but there's still tons of security, no need for concern)
VERY customizable
Cons:
OS is sometimes difficult to use at beginning
You have a 0.0001% chance of catching a virus.
