Put my iPhone 5 in my pocket without a case?

So I just got an iPhone 5 and I was wondering if it would be safe to put it in my pocket with no case without worrying about the screen scratching? I don't much care about the back; just the screen.

Yeah it's safe just don't drop it

Don't sweat it! Just recommending not to drop it! And if you're still worried, get a good quality back cover, which can help the screen from not cracking! I learned from my mistakes, because I dropped my iPhone 5, and the screen was ruined!

It'll most likely be safe as long as you aren't carrying anything sharp or rigid in the same pocket (keys, scissors, etc.)

I'd still recommend getting a case though!

Thats what I have done for years, I don't like cases because I like how thin and light it is. I always carry it in front pocket screen side in (in case walking I bump a car or something etc). NEver had an issue.

  • My iPhone 4S takes pictures of my pocket? Sometimes when I put my iPhone in my pocket and I try to change the music volume with my headset's buttons, the volume doesn't change. Then I will take the phone out of my pocket and if I press the home button it displays the camera app. I never get my lock screen, just straight to the camera app. I'm currently running iOS 5.1.1 jailbroken. Anyone know what's happening?
