Putting another SIM card in my iPhone to get pictures and videos off of it?

Would it mess anything up if I took the SIM card out of my iPhone 6 and put my old iPhone 5s SIM card in to download the pictures and stuff onto my laptop?

I very much doubt you have videos on your SIM.

SIM cards do not hold pictures and video. The phone can be cable connected with no SIM card fitted.

The sim card stores a limited amount of contacts, your cellular info, and nothing else
If you want to transfer a video, you'll have to do one of the following
A. Sync through Itunes
B. Use a cloud service (eg Icloud, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc)
C. Use a flash drive specifically designed for the iPhone (eg Sandisk IXpand)

SIM cards don't store pictures. They aren't memory cards

The SIM cards stores only contacts, they don't save the photos, videos. To save videos you can use SD card on your iPhone and If you need some security for your device, there's an app called LEO Privacy Guard 3.0.

  • Will my iphone work with just putting in a SIM card? My old phone was turning off all the time and my mom had an old iphone 3 that she doesn't use anymore. I took her iphone and put my SIM card into it. I then plugged it into the computer and registered it with itunes. Will this charge my AT&T bill? I don't want to pay for data yet? I didn't activate it through AT&T, but now I'm kind of worried it will. Will the phone work okay without calling AT&T to activate it?

My current network are unlocking my iPhone and they have sent me a message to say that to complete the unlocking please, restore from iTunes or put in a different sim card. If I use the sim card option, will it unlock the iPhone completely, or will it unlock it to the first sim card network I use in the phone? Because I may want to move network. Cheers

I have an LG eclypse right now (talk and text plan) and its dying. if i buy an iphone 4 that is locked to my current carrier (virgin mobile), will the SIM card work in the iphone, without me having to buy a data plan? my sim card is standard sized but apparently you can just cut the extra plastic off around the sides and itll work in the iphone.

Can I take my sim card out of my 4g android phone and put it into the 4s? I have a data plan and everything, and we both have verizon. Will this work like I won't have to set anything up with Verizon? My cousin did this and explained it to me but i just want to make sure I have this right?
