Reasons why the 5s is better than the 4s?

Okay, so my mom and I are debating something (like we always do). We've been debating whether or not my next phone should be an iPhone 4s or a 5s (as an upgrade from my slightly-broken Samsung Trendor). I want the 5s, but she wants me to get the 4s.

We've honestly discussed this so many times, and I've told her why the 5s is a better deal in the long run, but she continues to ask me why I think that, no matter how many times I explain. So I've decided to write it all down for her to see.

And I need some help. So if you could help me think of a few that I haven't listed, it would help a lot. (Also, we've discussed the price, so please leave that out).

-The 4s has minimal GB storage (only 8) so my phone would fill up really quickly and I'd need a new one sooner (Also, iOS7 takes up quite a bit of space)

-The 5s was made for iOS7, so it runs better with it, whereas many of the people I know with the 4s have constantly complained about their now-slow iPhone
***In addition to this, I would have to switch to iOS7 eventually, because all apps will soon be modified to make iOS6 obsolete

-The 5s is brand new, and considering how long I typically wait before switching phones, getting it will mean that it'll take a long time before it's completely obsolete, and therefore I can keep it for longer

-The 4s has a 30-pin charger port, which, while it is currently compatible with many things, in a year or two, it won't be

And then there are the personal ones, like how
-I'm a straight A student and don't give trouble
-My mom has been promising me a new phone for over a year now
-SHE wants a Galaxy S4, and is probably willing to pay for it, even though she already has a Galaxy S2, and she upgraded more recently than me.

(P.S. Please don't think that I'm spoiled-it's just that my old phone is such a burden now and I feel like I've earned the 5s)

The poor storage space and issues with iOS 7 are the two biggest flaws in getting an iPhone 4S now. Why don't you both compromise and get an iPhone 5/5C? 16gb memory and optimised for iOS 7. The 5 and 5C are practically the same except the 5C has an improved battery life (and it has a plastic back of course)

The 5s has a better processor, so will run faster. It also has better front and rear facing cameras. More memory. Runs ios7 better. The 4s will soon be no longer supported by apple, meaning you won't be able to get newer apps or software updates. They've stopped supporting the 3g/3gs and will stop supporting the 4/4s within the next year or so

I agree with your points. The 5S is simply better. A fair middle ground (because she's focused on price) would be the 5 or 5C. It's the same as the 5S just without the finger print scanner, which isn't needed anyway. Pay no mind to the 64 bit processor. Not a single app is currently coded in 64 so nothing is taking advantage of it yet.
