How to remove stripped screws from an iPhone?
A few screws are stripped, just curious how to get them out? I've looked it up but nothing seems to be work
When i have stripped screws i apply pressure using a flat head, works most of the time.
Take to a sprint store & have the folks there take a look. Phones aren't like cars, they can't be worked by laypeople who aren't knowledgeable on phone technology
You need tools you likely do not have. You have to drill them out. Most people do not have drill bits that thin.
- Stuck iPhone 4 lock button! Stuck/Stripped screws Okay so, I've had this stupid panda case on my phone and it jammed my lock button. It still works if you push super hard from the side, but no clicking sound. I saw how to fix it by opening my phone up but the screws won't come out no matter what! I tried a screwdriver alone, with duct tape, rubber band, double sided tape, everything! I don't have a warranty on my phone, and I'm looking for a super inexpensive (>$5) way to fix it, any ideas?
- Stripped screw while replacing iphone 4 screen? I accidentally stripped one of the screw on the internal side of my iphone 4, I absolutely HAVE to get the screen off and I can't because I stripped the screw. WHAT CAN I DO? Please SOMEONE Help!
- Screwdriver needed to unscrew Iphone screws? I'm not talking about the ones on the bottom, I used a knife for them. I'm talking about the ones in which I'm repairing the screen. Like I have the ones that came with the new screen, but they are too big and won't unscrew anything. Does anyone know what type I'll need to unscrew all the screws in the Iphone?
- IPhone 4 help! Type of screws? Okay so I'm trying to open my iPhone 4 I got an opening kit ( didn't fit any of the screw drivers) my screws have 5 points types any know what type of screw driver I will need? And also will the ones in side be the sane type of screws?
