Replaced battery in iPhone 5c and my touchscreen quit working?
My battery tore up in my iPhone 5c so I replaced it, charged it up, and tried to access my phone. The "slide to unlock" wasn't responding when I tried to unlock the phone. I'm not sure what to do, please help and thank you.

Your phone is "bricked." Get a new one.
Did you break the ribbon cable that connects the screen to the main board of the iPhone? Watch this video, you'll see he never bends the screen flat and warns you that the ribbon can break (you'll see the bend and where the connector is in this video):
Review the video above for the steps you followed. You either didn't reconnect the digitizer (touch sensor) or maybe even broke it. You'll have to open it back up to find out. Best luck.
- When my iPhone 6 screen is replaced by apple, will the home button be replaced as well? Ever since I updated to iOS 9 on my iPhone 6, the home button has been totally unresponsive. On top of this, my phone was recently stepped on and the screen was shattered. I plan on paying the $109 to have the screen replaced from apple, but does that replace the home button too? I've heard that when the front screen panel is replaced, so is the home button/touch id.
