Replacement iphone 4 screen

Recently cracked my screen, way to go me, so after calling many places including verizon which is how i'm through, i decided cheapest way is to do it myself and buy a kit from amazon for $30.00… After watching you tube videos i'm sure i can do this! Kind of nervous though. So anyone have any tips on what kit to get? Some say at&t and some say verizon, does it really matter on company? Iphone is iphone i though, did think the companys mattered. But anyone have any better ideas or tips for me, that would be grateful!

There's a fellow in my local mall that has a kiosk and replaces screens for $70 (screen and case $120)

i know that an iPhone that runs on Verizon won't work on the AT&T network. They are different but i don't think the glass matters

I know a good online phone replacement parts supplier, ETrade Supply. Besides, on this website there are many videos that tell you how to disassemble or assemble your phone by yourself. You can go and find the part that you want. Hope it can help you.

I wouldn't get one from amazon if I were you. Some of them are probably good, however I've seen terrible reviews on most. I shattered my entire screen about 2 months ago and after doing some research I found a company that I felt comfortable with. After all, you don't want to put a sucky screen on an iPhone. I purchased my screen through iCracked and they were amazing. It was $65, but they send you the screen, tools, instructions, link to a video where they show you how to do the replacement, a screen protector, and a bumper for your phone. Also if you start doing it and need help they have a help line that's 24/7 and if you get really stuck and can't finish it you can even mail it in to them and they will do it for you. Here is the link. Best wishes. http://www.icracked.com/do-it-yourself and yes it does matter what phone company you have, but the website lets you select which one you have so that you get the right kit.
