Reset on iPhone 3GS not loading?

Just purchased a second hand iPhone 3GS that is jail broken. And I have reset the phone to its original settings, and it's been loading for almost 3 hours. The screen has just stayed black with the white loading sign going round and round.

Its probably because you are in DFU mode. Do this to fully reset your device back to factory settings: (THIS WILL ERASE EVERYTHING IN YOUR PHONE but not in itunes)

Plug your device into your pc with itunes openned.
Then:
Hold Lock(power button) and the home button together until the device shuts off completely.
Then keep holding it for 7 seconds(more then 5 seconds anyways) THEN release ONLY the Lock button(power button).
Wait for itunes to say that it recognized a device in "Restore mode" and it will ask you if you want to restore.
Select Yes. Wait… And enjoy you "new" iphone.

  • YouTube not loading iphone 4? Okay here what happened… I accidentally dropped my iPhone in water (2 secs in water) it was in a case. I immediately shut the phone down, and stuck it in a bowl of rice (with the case off). After about 8 hours I recharged the phone and turned it back on. Everything is working fine, Internet, music, sound, screen… Everything EXCEPT YouTube videos just say "loading" and does nothing further. Note: this occurs in the YouTube app. Any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

I have a netgear wnr3500lv2 Wi-Fi router and when am using the Wi-Fi either on my laptop or phone i would constantly get errors about the connection reset by peer or an error with something about peers, it is especially noticeable on my jailbroken iPhone when i try to install a package, i would have to try 3 or four times before it would work and when using Firefox i would try to load a page and would get the connection reset error
  • Why is Netflix not loading on my iPhone? I'm trying to watch Doctor Who which is about 45 minutes per episode but when I try to watch it the video doesn't even load and I get an error message. I'm using T-mobile 3G on an iPhone 4 because our internet went down. Can I watch Netflix at all or do I just have to watch shorter videos? I'm getting around 2-3 bars right now if that makes a difference.
  • Why are YouTube videos not loading or playing on my IPhone 5? This problem has been persisting for a few days now - basically, every time I attempt to play a YouTube video, whether it is through the app or the actual URL on Safari, the screen stays black and never loads on app, and the loading wheel continually spins on the video. Is there a solution to this issue?
