Restore downloaded Apps on iPhone?
I downloaded an app from Safari (not on the App Store).
Will this app back up on my computer also?
If I restore my phone and then restore backup, will it still be there?
Is your device jailbroken? I don't think you can download apps from Safari. If you did, though, it would back it up through iTunes to your computer.
- Why are all the iphone apps I have ever downloaded saved on my macbook pro? There's 60GB of iphone apps stored on my macbook pro. It is taking up a lot of space and i was wondering if that is normal or something is wrong. Would it be alright if I deleted all of it and just backed up my phone to the cloud?
- Lost all downloaded apps from iPhone downgrading from iOS 7 Beta? Before I upgraded, I manually backed up my iPhone on my mac. I needed to downgrade after upgrading, so I opt+clicked restore iPhone and selected the correct firmware, 6.1.4 (for my iPhone 5). I loaded up the iPhone and restored from my previous backup. When I loaded up my phone, there were no apps on it that didn't come with the device! Does anyone know what went wrong or how to get all of the apps and their previous data back? It would help me beyond belief!
