Restored iphone and lost everything?

I got my iphone 5 about a month ago and i hadn't synched it to itunes until today. When i went into itunes it asked me if i wanted to start it as a new iphone or restore it to my old ipod touch and i clicked ipod touch cause i wanted my old pictures and music but it completely deleted everything off my phone and put the stuff from my ipod on it. I lost all my new pictures contacts and messages. Is there anyway i can get those back? I didn't hook up to icloud either.

As far as I know thrre is no way to get it back, I did roughly the same thing not long ago and I never got any of mystuff back, sorry.

Unfortunately, if you haven't done any preceding syncing procedures with iTunes or iCloud, then there's no way to restore the iPhone to a previous state to bring back files. IPhone isn't Mac OS, it doesn't have Time Machine.

Nope. If the stuff on your iPods doesn't match what iTunes has it just deletes everything. It's kinda sh*t ano. It's happened to me. Just don't let iTunes sync. Take it off the automatic sync device or something x

You should have turned on icloud and tapped backed just to make sure first, it only takes a minute to do that so you should have done it. You can also sign on to icloud online at http://www.icloud.com/...icloud.com and see what you have backed up, its pretty slick.
