Restoring iPhone from iCloud after erasing all data and settings?
I have a 3gs Iphone Version 5.1.1… Today all my contacts got erased all of a sudden for no reason.iCloud did back up my phone 5 days ago. So I checked as to how restore the lost data, they said I had to erase all the data and settings and restore from iCloud when it's setting up again.
The data erasing is taking forever, I googled this and it takes long sometimes. Now, I'm anxious about it. Will I get my media and contacts back or will I end up losing everything and not only my contacts?
The part were they said this action can't be undone when I erased the data sounded like life or death or fate or something lol
So am I gonna get them back?
First just sign on to http://www.icloud.com/...icloud.com and see what you have backed up, it will show you everything there.
- Will restoring my Iphone to facorty settings erase my data? I have upgraded my iphone 4s to the new iOS, and then a few days later, tried connecting my device to my PC ( i have the new itunes). It, however, tells me that it can't connect to my iphone and that i should go to 'Preference' and select to 'restore to factory' settings. Will this erase my data and 'degrade' my phone to the previous iOS?
- Why does my iPhone 4 keep erasing all data? Why does my iphone 4 erase all data when the battery dies? So it erases all data, and has the same icon when you first buy it and need to sync it to iTunes (has the iTunes. Logo and the sync cable going up toward the iTunes logo. Just like when you first buy it and turn it on). Best answer 10 points!
- What settings will it change if I press reset all settings on my iPhone? Also, will this help speed up my iPhone because that's what I've heard. Because my iPhone has been so slow lately and taking like 3-5 minutes to send 1 text. If you know of any other ways that could help speed that up please also let me know that.
- My iphone is disabled and locked! Is there a way to open it without erasing all my stuff? I'm legit crying because someone must have tried to hack into my phone and now I can't get into my iphone without the iphone store deleting all my info I had my phone at all times too so it doesn't make sense that they are saying someone tried to use the incorrect passcode too many times
