Restoring my jail broken iPhone?

Ok so here's my problem. I jail broke my iPhone 5 running ios 6.1.2 using evasi0n and I can't restore it no matter what I do! I want to restoreot because my phone has stopped getting any cellular data at my house and it used to get it and my battery seems to be dying pretty fast. I believe this has something to do with Cydia. But I try to restore with my laptop and it'll finish "extracting software" and it'll say something about contacting iTunes. There's where t stops. It says an unknown error occurred and gives me an error code or 3194.So I try it on my desktop and it says "contacting iPhone software update server" and them it says it can't contact it. So I call apple. We try to get passed this issue but we can't! (No I didn't tell him it's jail broken) he recommended me taking it to my local apple store (which is 2 hours away from me!) and I can't go if my phones jail broken. And so I try going to settings >general>reset>erase all content and settings and I do that and that spinning circle on the screen stays spinning. This is really annoying. Can someone Please help me!

Is your iTunes up to date?
1.delete everything on it (if it lets you)
2 if all else fails… Go to the apple store

In the settings there should be as button that says restore to default settings. You should be able to get to it by going to settings, press general, scroll down and there should be something that says reset, press that, then press reset all settings. It will delete everything on the iPod but you can just red download that stuff.

There's nothing Apple can do. If it's under AppleCare, that's fine, but since you jailbroke it's out of Apple's hands.
