Reverse sync iPhone4 music to iTunes on Windows 8?

I have a new computer and I need to take my music library that is currently on my iPhone 4 and transfer it to my new iTunes on Windows 8. All purchases have been transferred but how do I transfer the other music that was acquired differently?
I can't seem to be able to access the hidden music folders contained in my iPhone.
Any free software? Other ways of transferring these files?

I know one tool called istonsoft iphone to computer transfer (supports windows 8), but it only has free trail version. I think it can help you this time, but will charge after a few times.
ps: i don't know any totally free third-party transfer by now.

Can't say for sure that this will work, but I've done it with ipods before to extract the music files.

Connect device to computer. Open as file storage/flash drive.

You must have the 'Show Hidden Files' option on

Once you've unhidden these files, explore all the folders that were previously hidden. You will likely find your music divided up into numbered folders somewhere on the drive.

  • Music won't sync to iphone when i sync itunes? I plug my iphone 4 into my computer, and sync my itunes stuff. It syncs the contacts, calendars, apps, everything except my music.
  • Itunes on iPhone shows albums in reverse chronological order? So I updated my iPhone to iOS7.1.2. Gotta say I really hate it. But anyways, I noticed after I updated it that it messed up the way it shows albums by an artist. So I listen to a band and have all their albums, before it would show the earliest album first. So an album made in 1994 was the first album and I would have to scroll down to get to an album made in 2014. Its switched now. Its a really small thing to be mad at but its really really frustrating. Anyone know how to fix it?
  • Is there anyway I can reverse the iPhone update? So I updated my iPhone to iOS 6, absolute nightmare it's made me set up my phone again but for some reason will not activate! It's driving me mad! is there anyway I can go back and reverse the update?
  • Is there a reverse iPhone adapter? I like having one pair of headphones, however I don't want to use the iPhone adapter that plugs into the phone, I'd rather have an adapter that plugs into my computer and just use the new Apple headphones. Where would I be able to find one? I've looked everywhere, but I can only find the normal one that came with the phone.
