Samsung galaxy s4 active vs iphone 5?

I really like apple and i really would like an iphone 5 but i already have a ipad mini 16gb Wi-Fi modle and i really like the apple stuff so i wowuld kinda like to have a iphone since i also have a aipod touch and i have so much stuff bought from the itunes anad app store. I don't mind google play store i ama not sure if i like its mp3 player set up but i could learn to like it. So i would really like a iphone 5 but i also really want the samsung galaxy s4 active the active has alot more stuff you can do with it and i wouldnt be afriad of breaking it so if i was to buy the s4 active is there a way to move my music over to the phone or do i have to start over its all been bought through itunes, also would it be smart to buy a s4 when i already have so much stuff bought into the apple eco system i would just really like to see how green the grass really is on the other side of the fence but i don't want to get it and be disappointed or after a month realize i should have got the other one. The way ios7 is looking the iphone will be alot better but will the iphone 5s or 6 which ever comes out first have just as good of feuters do you know of any rumors about them in this way. So should i get the s4 even thouggh i in the apple eco system or stick with apple please no fanboy answers.

Since you already spent a lot of money on itunes i'd say get the iphone. If i were you, i'd wait a till the next one comes out, maybe less than 3 months.

Personal preference really. To me, the Apple products have lost direction. They have less power and less capability than android phones. Their only advantages are their store systems, easy to use features, aftermarket parts, and cult-like fan base. They have 1/4 the processing power, 1/2 the ram, and no widgets, my favorite thing ever. Retina displays are nothing compared to new phones. The active expands the advantages even further.

However, for your situation, I would go for the Iphone. Music can easily be moved to an adroid from itunes, look it up it's easy. Not so with apps. That is alot of money spent in that store that will go to waste if you move to android. Sorry, you're stuck with ios Buddy.

I was in your situation many times. I was an iPhone user, though I never have been a big fan of Apple. I switched to Android and am never going back… (though I was really torn between a Windows Phone and an S2 when I upgrading phones at one point). I can honestly say, I'm glad I made the switch and I'm never going back. (But I might be trying out a Windows phone sometime, since the keyboard is amazing.) I feel like there are way more opportunities with Android than there are with iOS 7. Yes, it's true that iOS 7 is a huge change, but look at what they're giving you… It's almost what Android provided their users a long time ago. I think it's great that Apple is stepping up and providing user with what they demand, but I feel that there are too many constraints when it comes to Apple products. I still have an iPod and somedays I just want to through my laptop at the wall because I can't stand iTunes. Definitely try out Android sometime, though I'm not sure if you should go out and get an S4 just to try out, since it is an expensive phone. Try going to a corporate store with live models of the phones and try them out and see if you like it. The best part about Android is that you can really make the phone your own and you can customize it almost anyway you want. Just head over to mycolorscreen and you can see all the possibilities there are. Also, I'm sure you could find a way to transfer the music, just look around the web. The decision is up to you! =]
