Scientific notation on iPhone?
I always forget how to do scientific notation on the iphone calculator. If I want say 2.88 x 10 to the power of 2, but I want that to show up on the calculator, not 288, what buttons do I have to press? I have tried pressing 2.88 x 2 then 10x button but it only gives me the answer once I try to do further multiplication.

Ask and ye shall receive.
Use the scientific calculator rather than the simple calculator. Go to the calculator app, then turn the phone sideways to get the scientific calculator. To enter a number in the calculator in scientific notation use the EE key as in… 2.88 EE 2. That will translate to 2.88 x 10^2.
