Searching.after IOS 6 iPhone Update - Lost Signal completely?
Have just updated my iPhone 4S to IOS 6, and now have lost my network completely. Instead of Orange i now have "Searching… ".
I have gone to settings > general > reset > reset network settings
and also "reset all settings", still nothing…
Anyone else experienced this?
Yes, almost exactly the same problem. Since updating iPhone 4 to iOS6, my phone is now unable to retain a signal in relatively weak areas (indoors), whereas it was fine before. I'm on the Three network.
It spends most of it's time now "Searching… " or "No Service".
Resetting phone and/or removing/replacing SIM makes no difference. Selecting Carrier manually also doesn't help, just results in a missing carrier message!
This can't be a network issue, because I've had no problems in this exact location for months!
Mine is always searching!
Have you find the answer?
- Since iOS 6 update, my Verizon iPhone 4 service keeps dropping and loosing signal? Since I updated my iPhone 4 (Verizon) to iOS 6, my cell signal is constantly dropping or searching. Doing so also kills my battery life. Any body have the same problem? What can I do to fix this?
- My IPhone works completely fine sometimes but a lot of times I can't use it and it's completely unresponsive to my touch? I scheduled an appointment to fix my very cracked screen and I was just wondering if this will fix my problem for sure or is there something else that may be causeing the screen to be unresponsive?
- Iphone always searching for signal? I have an iPhone 4s. I updated to iOS 8 earlier today, but it made my phone so slow that I decided to go back to iOS 7. I restored my phone back to iOS 7, but now in corner it either says "searching" or "no signal". Also, when I go to my voicemail it says "visual voicemail is currently unavailable". I tried restarting my phone and it didn't help. What should I do? I really don't want to have to go back to iOS 8.
- IPhone 5 stuck Searching for Service after dropping in water? Yesterday I dropped my iPhone in the water and had it on rice for the past 24 hours. Today I took it out and turned it on and it works! Now the only problem is that where the cellular service bars usually are, it just says "searching". I've tried taking out the sim card and using computer air cleaner to clear out the slot, I tried resetting it, and it's still stuck on "searching". Wi-Fi still works. What can I do?
