Self-conscious, anxious, or even paranoid over silly things? How do you deal?
I had an iPhone 4 and the cases I had were boring. I had a black case with a kick stand, and a plastic case. I then tried something new… I bought a case with a slide out keyboard. It was fun but it still felt boring.
Everyone I know has a plain, solid color, case. If your operating systems GUI is identical to every other iPhone, I've always wondered, why would one then purchase a case so similar to everyone else. It's just boring.
So I decided, when I got the iPhone 5, to pick a case that went with my personality. I found three cases and my Girlfriend told me that she really didn't like two of my choices… So it was narrowed to one:

I was confident about it. But I put it on my phone and realized that I lose all confidence right away. I'm in my mid-twenties and I'm a huge nerd. I love comics, superhero movies, and I subscribe to Marvel Unlimited. I'm a pretty huge nerd… It's why my Girlfriend could see why I wanted the case. She didn't like it though. My coworkers told me it looked terrible.
Perhaps I need more self-confidence. Or maybe the case is hideous… I don't know. One coworker told me that it looks like something you buy for a child's phone. I live in NYC and ride the train a lot… So I have this annoying though that others who see it will laugh. This is really immature, I know, but it's still bothering me… I get anxious about it. And it's minor and silly, I understand, but a bother. All over a stupid case… So I turn to you.
I'm looking for opinions. If you were me. How would you grow a pair? Or is the case really that bad? How would you deal if you were me? Does anyone out there find themselves feeling self-conscious, anxious, or even paranoid over silly things? How do you deal?
Don't worry so much, do you think anyone other than you really pays any more attention that, hmm, he has an interesting phone case, its just a phone case, if you like it then great.
- What to do if you forgot you iphone passcode and you didn't even put your iCloud account in? When i first got my iphone i set the passcode as 000000 but I somehow typed too fast and hit something else and i did it TWICE. I didn't even get a chance to log in my apple id account. I don't know what to do.
- My iPhone 4S keeps turning off over and over and over again? I was on my phone just listening to OM&M on pandora and going on twitter when all of a sudden it shut off and now it's stuck on the turning off screen for like an hour or two. What do i do I'm FREAKING OUT.
- Is it silly to upgrade to 5s? I have a 5 month old iPhone 5 that someone may purchase from me for $600 & and iPad for $300, is it silly to do all this just to upgrade to 5s? No rude comments please.
- Is it bad? Or am I paranoid to much? How to be less paranoid? My girl is getting a iPhone soon. I'm scared she'll facetime random guys and do stuff even though she's NEVER cheated on me but ppl cheated on her an I've been cheated on. What the hell is wrong with me?! I wanna shake being so jealous! Or paranoid!
