Selling iPhone 4s on usell.com.is this a scam?
I seen the usell.com commercial so I went on the website and I seen bids for my iPhone. The highest bid was for $330 and i clicked on it. I signed it up, then they sent me an email saying that they will send me a uSell box in 3-7 days to ship my Sprint iPhone to them… Once they receive it, they said they will email me to notify that it is good, then send me my check for $330. Has anyone ever sold phones on this site before? Was it a scam? And how long did it take them to send your check after you have received the email?
Why buy a used phone of dubious condition when you can get one that is guaranteed to work from AT&T or Verizon.
YES, IT IS 100% SCAM.

The wise assumption is than people are out to rip you off, even on TV. Advertise on Craigslist.org to locals you can meet in person instead.
The same people appear to operate:

- Which is better: selling on amazon or selling on ebay? I have an individual seller account and I've noticed that my products sell much faster or ebay. However, I sold two iphones. My final sale fee $1100. However, ebay charged me a final sale fee of $135 Then I was charged $40 by paypal Then I paid $60 total to ship both items. On my amazon account I sold 1 phone. The phone cost $180 Amazon took out $30 Shipping cost $10 So I made $140
- Trying to unlock iPhone but can't find proper non-scam site? I'm trying to unlock my iPhone 4 locked to Telstra. I bought it on ebay so I don't have contact with the seller. I Can't find a cheaper way to unlock it than the $60 apple solution, I've seen a few sites that have lower prices but I can't be sure of the legitimacy of it. Anyone know a good site with some good rep that can unlock it for cheap? Please!
- Should I use UpgradeSwap or Usell to sell my iPhone 5? The phone is in mint condition for Verizon. I would really like to avoid selling on craigslist, because I've heard too many scary stories about people getting robbed and meeting some very shady people through craigslist. Has anyone ever used upgradeswap or usell to sell a phone?
- Selling a iPhone 4 on EBay - Scam I'm selling a IPhone 4 on eBay and a potential bidder is saying they wish to come and view the phone before bidding. This I have no problem with but they are adamant they want my phone number to ring me to arrange coming to see it… Why would they not be happy with my address? Is there a scam that they can run if they have my number?
