Setting up a hotspot on an iPhone?
So I just got this iPhone and I only bought 3gb of data, but since my mom has unlimited data (she was grandfathered), is there a way that I can connect to her phone through Wi-Fi while she's using her 4G while on a road trip? Like ca. I set up a hotspot on her phone and then connect my phone to it? If so, how can we do that?
Go to the Settings app on your iPhone - in iOS6, there should be a shortcut saying 'Personal Hotspot'. Tap that. If not:
1) Go to Settings > General > Cellular
2) Tap 'Personal Hotspot'
3) Tap the Toggle to the 'On' position.
Users that wish to change the password can tap on the password field and type a new password. The Wi-Fi network should then be available to select and connect to on your other device.
- Setting up ringtone on iPhone 4? I can't set up a ringtone for my iPhone 4 so I can hear the ringtone as someone calls. I have gone into Settings and Sounds and turned up the volume of the ringtone. However, when someone calls, the iPhone only vibrates and doesn't ring. What other ways can ringtone be activated and hears on the iPhone 4?

I got an iphone 4 online but i have no idea how to activate the sim card and you don't get many details with the phone and i didn't even get a thing with the sim card telling me what the actual mobile number is iv hooked the phone up to itunes and everything but the sim card still won't let me ring anyone can anyone help me please

These text messages come from a different number each and every time. (ie. 777203777562, 777… ). All text messages start with "alert@erie.gov".Is there any program or any way where I can create a ring tone for all these numbers without typing them all in?
