Setting up my iPhone on iTunes when other devices are on there?
I just got an iPhone and i plugged it into my computer to get some music off iTunes, i already have an iPad that's connected to the iTunes library on my computer already, and when i plugged my iPhone in it said to either set up as a new iPhone or restore from the backup of my iPad, what would happen if i picked either of them? Would i loose all the music on my iTunes and if i set it up as a new iPhone?
Iphone would give you a stock iphone to do with what you want.
From backup of ipad would load all your apps music and everything straight onto the iphone.
You wouldnt lose data from any device or itunes
- Will setting up my new iPhone erase my music from iTunes? So I finally got my very first iphone and connected it to my mac to try and sync some music. When I open itunes it gives me the option to "setup as new iPhone" or "restore from previous iPod" Will clicking "setup as new iPhone" delete all of my music from iTunes? Because I really don't want to click restore from old ipod because i don't want All the music and apps that I had on my ipod.
- Why is my music downloaded from my iPhone 4S going to my other devices? I keep on downloading music from my iPhone 4S and it goes to both my computer and the family computer. I don't want it going to either computer. All of the settings that enable the music to go to other devices are off. What's going on here? How do I fix it? Thanks! ICloud's doing this? So basically the only solution is to go on the computer myself and delete them manually, right?
- What if I plugin my iPhone into my computer and there's still not a 'DEVICES' button in iTunes? No matter how many times i try, when i plug my iphone in my laptop with the itunes page open it doesn't show the button 'devices' as it should. How can i fix that?
- My Iphone won't receive messages but Imessage works on other devices? I can send and receive messages with Imessage on my computer but my Iphone doesn't receive any and the messages send as text messages instead when I text someone with an iPhone. I've reset it already and tried restoring it and it did't help.
