Should I ask God to give me strength?

Considering that I have the tendancy to be negative?

God gave you self sufficience. How many times do you pray before driving your car to make your trip a safe trip? Never. Because you are sub consciously confident enough in your self that you will do fine

No, you should learn to think what the good outcomes for an action might be before you do something and work to achieve those results, instead of just letting things happen and then whining about how life is so mean and how your god has ignored you

The Psalm 84 says:
7 They go from strength to strength;
Each one appears before God in Zion.

They go from "faith to faith". That means we pick promises from God and grab hold, and refuse to let go. He gives us HIS perspective because what we're doing is agreeing with his promises; we align ourselves to God in that way. So you aren't really trying to be positive, we're trying to gain his perspective on things. If his perspective is positive, it will be likely that he teaches us to be positive about whatever the thing is we perceive.

So, try aligning yourself with God. Let him determine what is positive and which is negative.

Now, strength is like your $15k. You didn't realize you have it in your account. You feel it comes from somewhere outside thru your trustable friend, The God. God made us complete coz we can handle things on our own. Isn't? So no harm in asking when you r too much down. He will let you understand that the you have it within u.

Say you r a kid, growing from a baby to boy. U reach 12 + and there comes a point of time in your life where you feel " oh god, won't my parents leave me alone, i wanna do this and that ". The same person who was assisted by his parents for all those years needs a break now thinking he can handle things on his own. Right… Fine. God do the same. When you feel you can handle things on your own, he just watch over… He assist if you ask for. If you believe/don't believe in God, its not going to harm him. For a mom, all the kids are same and so to God. U ask, you get. BUT NOT IN THE Way you WANT IT. BUT IN THE Way WHAT IS GOOD FOR you. You can understand it only in the long run. Coz our mind is like. I like iphone 4s now, i'm satisfied. When i see iphone 5, i like it and i'm not satisfied with what i have. ( thats just example… Don't say we can't buy anything coz new innovations are there often). God knows the best for us for the long run.
