Should I be worried that my charger makes high pitched noises?
So I have an IPhone 5c and I recently bought an off brand charger and I made a discovery. When the battery gets near charged and is not being used, the charger emits a high pitched hiss until I either unplug the device, or start to use it. Is this something I should be worried about, meaning could it catch fire or something?
I don't think its bad for your phone so id just keep using it but in the mean time id get another charger its probably going to break soon, or the ringing will drive you insane. I'm not a tech genius but i don't think it will catch on fire
There are transformers and capacitors and loads of other gizmo stuff in the charger. Transformers make a hissing sound which is normal. The originals have a high quality case and produced in a way to suppress the hissing sound. So its normal. Just avoid the charger being plugged in all day. These chargers tend to consume more energy comparatively. Otherwise it's fine!
- Who makes the fastest/best usb car charger? Looking for a nice car charger for the new ipad. I hear people are having to deal with long charge times even with the standard charger on these things. I have a car charger for my iphone but i'm wondering if they make any 10 amp or higher car chargers for the ipad since i can only find 2.1 amp ones. Does anyone know of any?
- My Iphone 6s makes crackling noises when I plug in earbuds/earphones? Can someone please explain to me how to fix the crackling noises my Iphone makes when I plug in earbuds. It does not make weird noises when I play it without headphones; but only when I plug something in to privately listen to music and etc. I don't think the earbuds/headphones are the problem because I recently used new ones, but it still makes crackling noises
- IPhone de is making high voltage electricity sounding noises? - Why does my iPhone 6s make a high pitched, almost smoke alarm sound when I listen to music? The first time happened when I walked onto the bus. I didn't have my headphones in and my phone dtsrted making a smoke alarm-type sound. The second time also happened on the but when I was listening to music without headphones and everybody told me to turn it off and it went away when I paused my music. Keep in mind there were 2 different songs. The last one that happened was just now when I had headphones in. I fear my phOne may be tapped.
