Should I buy a refurbished IPhone 5c from Cricket?

I want to, but since its refurbished, can I trust it? I'm just worried that it might stop working or something.

I went to Cricket and bought a iphone charger. It was broken when I got it. My experience at the Cricket store near me would say no. If they can't even sell a working charger I don't trust them.

I doubt it would stop working just out of nowhere. If it has warranty i would get it but if it doesn't, avoid.
