Should I buy an IPhone 5 or just wait until the new one comes out?

I just got a job at a gas station. It's my first job and I'm 17. My mom pays for my phone but I'm like the only person at my school that still has a Rumour! Supposedly a new IPhone is coming out but I'm not sure. Should I just buy an iPhone 5? Or do you know of any smartphones that are better than the iPhone?

If i'm correct, the new one is coming in a week or so. So if you ask me, wait for the new one, and get that.

  • Should I go ahead and get the iPhone 6 or wait until the next iPhone comes out? I want the iPhone 6 now bc I'm eligable for a upgrade but then again I want to be current and not be another year behind the current phone. What should I do?
  • Should I get the iPhone XR or wait till the new model comes out? Hi I'm 18, a guy. I made a mistake and rushed into getting the iPhone XS Max. I should've waited till the iPhone XR. I could have more money in my account if I got the XR. Should I do a trade in and get it? Or just wait till the next iPhone model comes out
  • Should I get the HTC One or wait until the next iPhone is released? I have the Galaxy S4 but its not working so I have to get another phone. I should wait for the next iPhone and then decide between the two, right? I wouldn't be without a phone because I have a BlackBerry so I'm using that. There's some problem in its software, so I don't want to spend money on getting it fixed. Its not on warranty. I can wait for the iPhone. Should I wait? I'll be getting my new phone in October anyway. So I'll have to wait for it either way.
  • Should I buy the new iPhone 5, or wait until November for the Samsung Galaxy Note 2? I'm really tempted to get the iphone 5 right now, because I really want to switch out of my blackberry. I've never used an android phone, and I'm sick of the apple ios. The ios is too simple and plain. I was going to get the galaxy note but then I heard rumors of the Samsung Galaxy note 2. Should I risk getting the iPhone 5 and not regret it or wait 1 and a half months for the Galaxy Note 2?
