Should I buy an Iphone 5s for $199 or an ipod touch for $199 and why?

Iphone becasue in a emergency you can call come one or can be tracked to your destain., Also if you don't want a plan on your iphone you still have the option for l8ter, with the ipod you don't have that option, you can get the phone with out a plan you know.

Iphone and ipod are generally the same thing in a way just without the calling and data plan. At that price its best for iphone unless you already have a phone as up to date as an iphone 5s.

- Which should I buy: iPhone 4 (japanlocked) or iPod Touch 4th Gen? Well you see, I'm basically gonna use it for music, mainly. The iPhone 4 (jpl) is gonna cost me like several bucks more. But the thought of possible call&text feature with the use of gmate is like a bonus for me. (But I have no gmate yet… Don't even need a new phone anyway) But then here comes iPod touch 4th gen, a few bucks cheaper than iPhone with almost the same use like that of the japan locked iPhone.
